Hi, I’m Terri Wright, a counselor that is passionate about supporting students from all walks of life as they navigate both personal and academic challenges. I am originally from Louisiana, and my journey has taken me from earning my BA in Psychology and MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Louisiana Tech University to working in many different settings like Juvenile Drug Court, Brentwood Behavioral Hospital, and a few private practices. Outside of work, you will often find me singing, line dancing, or traveling to explore new places and cultures. 

My counseling style is eclectic, meaning I draw from different therapeutic approaches to best meet each student’s unique needs. Whether it is stress, transitions, or personal growth, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space for students to feel heard and empowered. One of my favorite quotes from Steven Furtick states “You can’t heal what you hide.” When you are ready to start your healing journey myself and the other counselors will be here to help!
