Our office remains open with limited staff as we are partaking in social distancing. Although, some staff are working remotely, it is best to send us an e-mail or call and leave a voicemail. We are all responding to our emails and voicemail - please allow time for us to respond to your inquiry.

The Office of Research & Graduate Studies (ORGS) Pre-Award Team are reviewing and submitting proposals by the deadline in accordance with our Proposal Submission Guidelines.

Yes, many agencies and sponsors have published several funding opportunities that deal with the impacts of the coronavirus. Our University recently paid for a subscription to GrantWatch. In this grant search engine, one will be able to search for current grant applications for nonprofit grants, for-profit grants, small business grants, Federal, state, foundation, corporate giving and local grants. More importantly, GrantWatch has posted a new page containing COVID-19 funding opportunities

Research Compliance


The Office of Budget and Management (OMB) has released M-20-17“Administrative Relief for Recipients and Applicants of Federal Financial Assistance Directly Impacted by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) due to Loss of Operations.” which provides similar administrative relief as listed in M-20-11 to an expanded scope of recipients affected by the loss of operational capacity and increased costs due to the COVID-19 crisis.
