Texas A&M-Kingsville employee receives advisor award

KINGSVILLE (October 21, 2021) — Sue Nichols, assistant to the dean of the Honors College at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, was recently selected to receive the Executive Director’s Advisor Award from Alpha Lambda Delta. She is one of five chapter advisors to receive this award. Recipients were chosen based on their exceptional work during the 2020-21 academic year.

 

Nichols has been an advisor for the Texas A&M-Kingsville chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta, the Honor Society for First Year Academic Success, since 2012. She regularly attends conferences and webinars and actively contributes ideas for future topics and discussions. Nichols also volunteers as a scholarship reader for the Graduate Fellowship applications
