PayScale’s College Salary Report ranked Texas A&M University-Kingsville among a list of top colleges in the state based on alumni salaries.

Texas A&M-Kingsville, recognized as an engineering and research state university, ranked number 20 out of 80 on the list for 2019 which included both public and private colleges. This list includes salary data for alumni whose highest degree was a bachelor’s degree.

According to the data collected, A&M-Kingsville was at the top of the list with 53 percent of degrees awarded in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

The data also shows 63 percent of A&M-Kingsville alumni say their work makes the world a better place.

According to the list, the average salary for alumni with less than five years of experience is $53,100 and the $97,500 for those with more than 10 years of experience.
