MC - Service Requester Access


Submit a Service Request (Work Order) by signing into MC Login


Service Request (Work Order) Status Definitions:

REQUESTED – Successful submittal of a work order request (This status will allow you to recall the work order request if needed)

ISSUED – Requested work order has been reviewed, assigned to a shop and supervisor responsible for completing the work requested.

RESPONDED – Shop Supervisor or technician has updated the status of the work order. This will generate information in the outcome section located at the bottom of the Service Request Status screen of the selected work order.

COMPLETED – Manager, Shop Supervisor, or Technician has completed part or all of the tasks requested. NOTE: Additional information may need to be added to the WO prior to finalization.

FINALIZED – All work has been completed. All documents/photos have been attached and the work order is ready for final review by the Director, Manager or MC Administrator.

CLOSED – The work order has been reviewed by the Director, Manager or MC Administrator for completeness (ie. does the outcome reflect the completion of the work requested, has a follow-up WO been created to address any tasks left uncompleted, has all documentation or photos been attached, etc.)

***Please DO NOT use the MC Service Requester “SUBMIT SERVICE REQUEST” option as an EMAIL service. ***

Please click on the "Sign Up" link located below the Email or Member ID block (see image below) The following will appear on the screen (see image below):Please ensure the radial button for "I am NOT a Member of the Maintenance Connection." is selected. Then click the "OK" button.

The "Connection Key" for the TAMUK version of Maintenance Connection is: tamuThe Connection Key is not case sensitive and will only be used ONCE per new member. (NOTE: If you are locked-out or forget your password, do NOT create a new Member Id. See the section below for Password Reset.) Please enter the Connection Key in the box. Then click the "OK" button.

Please fill-in all fields with marked with an * asterisk. NOTE: You must choose a *Language.Member ID recommendations and tips - If you choose any part of your TAMUK email or log-in information, autofill features on your browser will automatically add the "@tamuk.edu" when you are attempting to sign-in. NOTE: It is okay to use your full email address as your Member ID.

Password Info Rules - Must be at least SIX characters in length, contain 1 CAPITAL letter, 1 lower case letter and 1 number.Please change the Security Question to "What is your all-time favorite sports team?" and enter the following ANSWER: javelinasVerify the Repair Center Info is set to "TAMUK".

Ensure to check the box next to "I have read and accept the terms of use. (see below)"Finally click the "OK" button.

*Note: Our Supervisors, Technicians, and Office Staff will utilize the phone number entered here to contact you with any matters related to your request.

*Note: The MC Program will send an email notification when your request is ISSUED, RESPONDED, COMPLETED, FINALIZED and/or CLOSED to the email listed in this field.

Please choose the closest Location or Asset that relates to your request in the next section:

*NOTE: Click on the “ + ” symbol next to the asset name to reveal more assets listed in the asset tree. If you need assistance in choosing the correct asset, please call 361-593-2145.

Next you will enter a description of the work to be performed:

*Note: Separate request will need to be made for each different Shop. **See Additional Information Section on page 4. You may click on the “Submit” button at this point or there are two additional sections to include more information to direct our technicians to the location or area you are requesting services for.

Use the below section to upload any .pdf, .doc, .xlsx files related to your request:

The last section can be used to add pictures of the area you need service in:

Checking the status of your request – click on the “Service Request Status” option located on the top left corner of the screen:

Here you will be able to view the status of your Work Order request. There are filter options available or search directly by entering the Work Order # in the search box.

To view more detailed information, click on the Request / WO#.

You can contact the Supervisor / Technician assigned to your Work Order by clicking on their email address.

The Shop assigned and all technician labor reports entered will appear here.
