Designed and tested Electromagnetic Interference/Compatibility requirements on aircraft ignition systems to EMI/EMC military standards 6181D and 461A, B, & C. Traveled to customer engine manufacturing sites to address any quality issues with company products.

Electronics Technical Manager 1983-1987

Scheduled and managed all periodic maintenance requirements for 20 Coast Guard Cutters ranging from 65 to 378 feet within the Third Coast Guard District area of responsibilities. Prepared all technical paperwork required for ship yard maintenance. Responsible for multimillion dollar budget for ship maintenance, routing unresolved problems with electronics equipment to appropriate specialists for resolution during schedule ship yard maintenance and plan, schedule, test, install & removal of outdated electronic systems and upgrade to newer systems. Prepared final reports upon completion of ship yard maintenance to Coast Guard Headquarters. Quality and Safety Inspector for installation/removal of electronics equipment during ship yard maintenance.

Sonar Technician 1979-1983

Operated, maintained, installed and repaired Anti-Submarine Warfare active/passive sonar detection systems, underwater communication, computer, and tactical electronics equipment. Calibration of test equipment and scheduling all preventive maintenance on electronics equipment.
