Javelina College Mathematics Cup Competition

Javelina College Math Cup is a free, fast-paced math competition hosted by the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Mathematics Department, delivered through Pearson MyLab. After you register, you will get free access to MyLab to practice and take short online quizzes before the event. On contest day, you will complete a comprehensive assessment, and prizes will go to the top scorers. Breakfast and lunch are provided, so come ready to meet other students, challenge yourself and have fun with mathematics!

Eligibility
The competition is open to undergraduate students who are curently taking Calculus II or higher and are ready for a challenge beyond the classroom. This is a great opportunity to compete for a scholarship and add a line to your resume.
Math faculty are invited to join us as guests and observers. Come support your students, connect with other instructors and see how they engage with rich problem-solving tasks.

- 1st Place - $1,500
- 2nd Place - $1,000
- 3rd Place - $500
All student competitors and participating faculty will receive a certificate of achievement/participation, sutable for resumes, portfolios, and departmental recognition.
