Students are allowed to use a personal calculator only for Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics Part 2. Calculators are not allowed to be used during Mathematics Part 1. The ONLY hand-held model allowed for these modules is the Texas Instrument TI-30XS.

The GED ® test has been updated to make sure it measures what graduating high school seniors know and what colleges and employers will expect of you.

    Four (4) parts:

  • Science (95 minutes)
  • Social Studies (95 minutes)
  • Reasoning Through Language Arts (150 minutes including a 10-minute break)
  • Mathematical Reasoning (115 minutes)

The test on computer costs $36.25 per subject or $145.00 for the entire battery (all 4 exams).

Registering for the GED®:

  1. Create your account.
  2. Complete registration questions.
  3. Provide additional documentation(if necessary).
  4. Schedule your test. 

Scheduling the GED®:

  1. Select your test.
  2. Select your Location, Date and Time.
  3. Pay for the test.
  4. Review your receipt.
