60x30TX

In less than ten years, 60 percent of Texans will need to have a certificate or college degree for the state to remain competitive in the global economy.

The 60x30TX project aims to ensure 60 percent of Texans from age 25-34 have post-secondary credentials by 2030. Universities and colleges in South Texas are set to empower a highly skilled workforce to propel Texas forward. With nearly 100 undergraduate programs preparing students to shape and lead in their communities, Texas A&M-Kingsville is prepared to help meet this goal. A bachelor’s degree is a ticket to higher overall earning potential—an individual with a four-year degree can earn double the lifetime wages of someone with a high school diploma.

Now is YOUR TIME to make your dream of a higher education a reality.

Marketable Skills

The future of work continues to evolve, and a good portion of jobs that our graduates are applying toward may not have existed when they began their academic careers. Texas A&M-Kingsville helps students see the connection between career readiness skills and what students are accomplishing in college so that students can articulate their curricular and co-curricular experiences to address posted job descriptions specifically.
