“Performance means nothing when you take the ‘L.’ I wasn’t thinking about fatigue, I really just wanted to get the win, unfortunately we came up short,” Winborn said.

The Texans would score first and go ahead 49-46. The Hogs would force a second overtime after getting stopped at the two and opted to tie the game at 49-49.
The Hogs would score in the second extra period on a two-yard run by Winborn to go ahead 56-49. The Texans answered quickly on a Scott Grantham 20-yard quarterback rush and trailed 56-55 before sending their offensive unit back on the field for a two-point conversion try. The Hoggies would fail to stop Grantham at the goal line and give up the games winning score and the Texans would prevail 57-56.
