The team now has an overall record of 9-4.
The team will finish their homestand this week with a non-conference game against the St. Mary’s Rattlers on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 5 p.m.
Last season, the Hogs defeated the Rattlers 4-0 at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi before the Rattlers returned the favor in San Antonio by defeating A&M-Kingsville, 10-3.
The Javelinas will then host the Abilene Christian Wildcats this weekend for another LSC series.
The first game of the series will be held at Whataburger Field Friday, Feb. 29, at 6 p.m. The Hogs will finish out the series against the Wildcats with the last three games at Nolan Ryan Field.
The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 1 beginning at 3 p.m. before finishing out the series on Sunday, March 2 at 1 p.m.
Last season, the Wildcats came into Nolan Ryan Field and took three out of four games from the Javelinas, but only outscored the Hogs by three runs, 22-19.
