Annual Derby Days
Sigma Chi will be hosting the event April 28-May 2. The events will take place at the Texas A&M University-Kingsville campus beginning at 6 p.m. This is a community service event, any money raised will be donated to the city to rebuild Fireman Park. Discuss your favorite candidate to become the next Dean of the College of Education at the forum inviting University students/staff/faculty to participate in the process Wed., Apr. 30, in the MSUB room 219A from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m.
TAMUK Trombone Choir
Students come enjoy the free musical presentation by the Texas A&M University- Kingsville Music Department and directed by Oscar Rios on Wed. Apr. 30, at 8 p.m.
Environmental Engineering Open House
All TAMUK students are invited to an open house by Environmental Engineering graduate programs Apr. 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Frank H. Dotterweich College of Engineering room 275. The event will include department lab tours, meet and greet with graduate students and faculty, environmental engineering poster presentation and free pizza.
Belly Dancing Demo
Come and experience the health benefits of belly dancing as the Center for Distance Learning & Continuing Education display a presentation showing belly dancing as a great way to workout. The presentation also includes sword, veil and fan dances, and features an experienced fitness and health instructor. The event will beheld at MSUB room 221B on Mon. May 5, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
SSS Graduates Luncheon
The graduate luncheon is intended for to honor program participants who graduating for all their scholastic achievements, May 8 at Young’s Pizza.
