CLUB HISTORY
A Bachelors Degree in Criminology was introduced to TAMUK in the
Fall of 1997 The Criminology Club was established in the Fall of 1999 and had
approximately 50 members. Our enrollment in Criminology and the membership in the
Criminology Club continues to grow each semester. |

PURPOSE
The Criminology Clubs purpose is to provide professional, academic,
and social development to those students who are interested in pursuing careers in the
criminal justice enterprise. |

CLUB ORGANIZATION
There is a committee consisting of five officers, a President,
Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Historian, Parliamentarian, and Public Relations.
Organization officers shall be elected by a plurality vote at the last meeting of each
academic year, and shall serve for one full year. |

MEETINGS & DUES
Club meetings are held twice a month, while business meetings are held
once a month. Dues are collected once a semester. |
