THE WORK AT CRPF

The Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation (CRPF) is committed to funding research that develops treatment and cures for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury and other central nervous system disorders. The Foundation also vigorously works to improve the quality of life for people living with disabilities through its grants program, paralysis resource center and advocacy efforts.

Since its inception, CRPF has awarded more than $53 million in research grants to the world's best neuroscientists. CRPF grants are catalytic. The Foundation supports new initiatives, takes smart risks, and makes sure their research dollars are spent wisely. And the research they're funding also has the potential to contribute to cures for other devastating diseases, such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, MS, diabetes, ALS and stroke.

In addition, through their Quality of Life and Health Promotion grants and the new Christopher and Dana Reeve Paralysis Resource Center, CRPF supports a wide variety of initiatives that make life easier, more productive, and more enjoyable for children and adults with spinal cord injuries and other diseases and conditions which result in paralysis.
