Campus Quality Survey Coming Soon to Faculty and Staff! The Campus Quality Survey (CQS), a survey of TAMUK faculty and staff, is in the mail. Please look for a copy of the Campus Quality Survey in the mail at home, fill it out right away, and then put it back in the mail using the postage paid and pre-addressed envelope that came with it. The only employees who will not receive the survey are student workers and temporary employees.
The CQS is an opportunity for faculty and staff to rate the quality of a number of campus services and to provide their perspectives on “how things should be” and “how things are” at A&M-Kingsville. This information will be used to a) assess the degree to which employees are satisfied with the university, b) which aspects of the university employees feel demonstrate quality, c) the gaps – if any – between how things are and how things ought to be in employees’ opinions, and d) differences and similarities among faculty members’, staff members’, and administrators’ perspectives. Comparisons can also be made with similar information collected on student surveys. This information will be extremely helpful as we plan improvements for all members of the university community.
The survey is absolutely anonymous. No one at the university will ever be able to associate any response with a particular individual. Therefore, everyone can feel safe in responding completely honestly and in being candid in their comments. Those who make decisions that affect the entire university need to hear the voices of the members of the university community. Everyone’s unique perspectives on the university are welcomed and valued!
Questions? Feel free to be in touch with Dr.
Gail Dantzker at (361) 593-4015, or at gail.dantzker@oir.tamuk.edu, or by stopping by her office in Rm. 231, College Hall, to chat.
e’re looking forward to hearing from you via the CQS!
