Texas A&M-Kingsville submitted its Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) to SACS for their comments and approval. The 60-page document describes the surveys, discussions, and literature study conducted at the university, ultimately leading to the QEP focus on student engagement. The document also contains details for implementing student engagement courses. The entire Quality Enhancement Plan can be viewed on the QEP website: qep.oir.tamuk.edu.

Public meeting to be held regarding re-accreditation of communication sciences and disorders graduate program
| The graduate program in communication sciences and disorders is in the process of re-accreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). A site visit team will be coming to campus to view the program in action on Monday and Tuesday, March 21 and 22.

| About 120 sophomores and juniors from Robstown High School will spend two days, Friday and Saturday, March 11-12, at Texas A&M University-Kingsville learning everything about college from the admission process, to the best time to apply for financial aid, to the taste of cafeteria food during the first Collegiate World Series conducted at the university by the National Hispanic Institute (NIH).
