STUDENT SCHOLARS WITH RECEPTION

KINGSVILLE (Oct. 30, 1998) -- The faculty and staff of Texas A&M University-Kingsville honored its best and brightest recently during a "Scholarbration." All students receiving scholarships of $100 or more were saluted at a reception last month. Invitations were sent to 355 students.

The College of Engineering has the bragging rights on the students with the most scholarships with 112. Other colleges with students receiving scholarships are Agriculture and Human Sciences, 78; Arts and Sciences, 87; Business Administration, 38; and Education, 40.
