TEXAS A&M-KINGSVILLE STUDENTS

ELECT HOMECOMING ROYALTY

KINGSVILLE (Oct. 30, 1998) -- Breana L. Love of Friendswood was elected Homecoming Queen at Texas A&M University-Kingsville while Jorge L. Garduno Jr. of Brownsville was selected Homecoming King.

The pair were elected by a vote of the student body Oct. 21-22 during Homecoming Week activities.

Love is a senior animal science major and Garduno is a junior studying in chemical engineering.

The two were crowned during halftime of the Javelina football game against the Buffaloes from West Texas A&M University Saturday, Oct. 24.

Love is the daughter of Gerald and Bertha Love of Friendswood. Garduno is the son of Jorge and Sara Alicia Garduno of Matamoros.

Karen Doramus of Agua Dulce and Dino Gutierrez of Kingsville were first runners up.
