MARIACHI COMPETITION CANCELED

KINGSVILLE (Oct. 6, 1998) -- The mariachi competition scheduled at Texas A&M University-Kingsville Saturday, Oct. 10, has been canceled.

Members of the Hispanic Heritage Committee canceled the event but plan to try again with a similar activity in the spring of 1999. For more information call Nino Mendietta at 512-593-2760.
