A&M-KINGSVILLE'S DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SCIENCES HOSTS FIFTH ANNUAL HOLIDAY AUCTION

(KINGSVILLE, November 13, 1996) -- Plans are in full swing for the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Department of Human Sciences' Fifth Annual Holiday Auction. The silent auction will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, in Ballroom B of the Student Union Building.

The auction is an annual event of the Department of Human Sciences. Proceeds from the fundraiser help to support the activities of the department's student organizations. Items typically range from several dollars to several hundred dollars.

The items to be auctioned off were donated by various merchants and craftsmen. Some of the items include an Amado Peña print; San Pablo Outfitters guided fishing excursion, featuring two days's lodging and one day of fishing; complimentary weekend for two at a Corpus Christi luxury hotel; body massage; billiard cue; holiday and novelty wreaths; gift certificates; original artwork; designer fragrance baskets; and much more.
