The Presidents of Texas A&M University-Kingsville and Southwest Texas Junior College met in Kingsville May 1 to sign a Memorandum of Understanding articulation agreement allowing engineering students to make an easy transition between the two entities. According to Dr. Mohammad Alam, dean of the Frank H. Dotterweich College of Engineering at A&M-Kingsville, this agreement will be a career path for students earning an associate’s degree in engineering science at SWTJC to move into the Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering at Texas A&M-Kingsville.
