Free A&M-Kingsville Music Event Mesquite Groove
Features Commander Cody Band, Triggerfish, Vallejo May 7

KINGSVILLE (April 30, 2008) — The public is invited to attend the 10th annual Mesquite Groove at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, an evening of free music performances, food booths and giveaways Wednesday, May 7 from 5-11 p.m. on University Boulevard.

Featured music acts this year include the country rock Commander Cody Band, nationally known for the songs “Hot Rod Lincoln” and “Too Much Fun,” rock group Vallejo and island music performers Triggerfish.

Mesquite Groove is produced entirely by A&M-Kingsville communication students who volunteer their time, and sponsored by university radio station KTAI-FM 91.1. Other sponsors include Texas A&M-Kingsville, Disc Go Round, Precision Collision, EnDyn Inc. and Ignite Energy.
