Main 16" telescope open for public viewing Oct. 6
KINGSVILLE (September 30, 2005) — The physics program at Texas A&M University-Kingsville hosts an open house for its 16” telescope, located on top of Hill Hall, on Thursday, Oct. 6, at 7:30 p.m.
During the course of the evening, the main telescope and two to three 8” telescopes will be aimed at a number of objects in outer space for public viewing, including Venus; the Ring Nebula; the M13 cluster in Hercules; and the moon.
