Prints of the Time goes back in time to showcase former students' work
KINGSVILLE (October 5, 2005) — In conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month and the A&I Chicano Activist Colloquium, the art department at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is currently showing Prints of the Time in the Ben Bailey Art Gallery. The exhibit continues through Monday, Oct. 31.
Prints of the Time features historical prints from Mexico’s Taller Grafica Popular and former art student work that are all part of the South Texas Archives’ Permanent Collection.
A public reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, after the colloquium and prior to the Hispanic Heritage Month Banquet.
The gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
