About Turner Hall

Built in 1972, Turner Hall is a 3-story residence hall which houses up to 378 male students. Facilities available to Turner Hall residents include a lobby with a big screen television, courtyard with a basketball court and grill, a kitchen, three laundry rooms, and a study room.

Unless granted a private room, residents in Turner Hall share their room with one roommate. Furniture in the rooms include: two beds, two drawer chests and two closets. All rooms come with local telephone service, and high-speed internet access. To live in Turner Hall, residents must be current TAMUK students.

Whether you are in the marching band or a garage band, if music is your passion then the Music community is for you. On this floor, your roommate might play the piano, and your neighbor might play the guitar. Regardless, residents share music as a common interest. On these floors you will commonly find residents practicing, writing songs, or performing. There are sound proof practice rooms in each hall
