Texas A&M University-Kingsville’s central website was established in February 1996; this version implemented December, 2004.

www.tamuk.edu makes extensive use of Cascading Style Sheets for all text formatting and page layout–all the pages are laid out without the use of tables (no, really, we’re totally not kidding). We strive to be as standards compliant as possible, just like the law says we should.

In order to experience this website properly, make sure you’re using a relatively new web browser (IE 6.0, Mozilla 1.0, Firefox 1.0, Opera 7.5 , Safari 1.2, etc.). That means Netscape 4.0 is not supported by this website. However, you should be able to see a text version of the website without adjusting the horizontal or vertical hold on your monitor.

The website makes use of several technologies, including RSS to deliver the latest news and headlines. If you’d like to subscribe to the feed, you may do so here.

If you have a question regarding your webmail or dial-up account, please contact the help desk in Computing and Information Services. Any questions regarding Web for Students/Web for Faculty should be directed to the Office of the Registrar. We promise no email will be sent to File 13.

Most of the pages on this website have appropriate office contact information (located in the footer of each page) for further information regarding their subject—if you cannot find what you are looking for, please contact us and we’ll work tirelessly to find the correct answer for you.

Long story short (too late)
