My Major:
Skyscrapers and bridges have always been a profound interest of mine. Carrying this into the real world and realizing the scope and magnitude of the design of structures and buildings has only elevated my curiosity in the practice of civil engineering.
Campus Involvement:
President of the TAMUK American Society of Civil Engineers
TAMUK Steel Bridge Team
President of the Texas A&M-Kingsville Presidential Ambassadors
“Pride of South Texas” Javelina Marching Band
Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
Campus Activities Board member
Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity
Spirits and Traditions Chairman
My favorite professor is:
Dr. Pat Leelani, Civil Engineer professor. He makes you realize the material from several angles and has a good practical career to back up his knowledge. Besides he can play an awesome game of racquetball.
When I have free time you might catch me:
I’m usually hanging out with my Lambda Chil Alpa brothers at the fraternity house. There is always something to do and someone to hang with.
After I graduate from TAMUK:
My intentions are to continue my education and obtain a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, while beginning my career and working towards licensure as a Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. Become more engaged in community events and work towards fundraising efforts for the education of future engineers. Also, I intend on continuing my career as a musician and playing in orchestras in and around Texas.
