Student Employment

Student Employment is geared for students who want to supplement their resources through part-time employment.  

The two options that are offered:

• Federal College Work-Study Program (CWSP)   -  for students who qualify for student financial aid.

• Part-time Student Employment Program   -  for students who do not qualify or do not apply for student financial aid.

Both these programs are administered through the Student Employment Office, Student Union Building, First Floor, Telephone (361) 593-2878

Purpose

The primary purpose of the CWSP is to stimulate and promote the part-time employment of students. The program is designed for those students who have great financial need and who are in need of the earnings to pursue a coarse of study at an institution of post secondary education.
