Texas A&M University-Kingsville recognizes the importance of a quality education. We are dedicated to helping you find a way to achieve your higher education goals. In addition to awarding University Scholarships, we also process private scholarships. To ensure maximum consideration, it is imperative that students are knowledgeable of the specific requirements and deadlines associated with all scholarships awarded.

Deadlines

All students must be admitted to be considered for Texas A&M University-Kingsville scholarship.  Currently Enrolled undergraduates will be reviewed for scholarship after Spring grades are posted.

December 15th      Incoming Freshmen (Presidential Series Scholarship only)
February 15th Incoming Freshmen
May 1st Graduate Students
June 1st Undergraduate Transfer Students

 

 

Applying for Scholarships

To be considered for General/ Departmental Scholarships, students must be accepted to Texas A&M University-Kingsville and meet the scholarship’s criteria.  There is no application process, Texas A&M University-Kingsville automatically awards to scholarships to students based on current academic credentials.

Notification of Award 

Students will be notified by written letter of each scholarship award.

Note:  Several major corporations and companies send scholarship applications throughout the year to the Scholarship Department.  These scholarships are not handled by the university but the general information and contact information is posted in the glass-cased bulletin board in the first floor of the Memorial Student Building near the Information kiosk.
