The Texas A&M University-Kingsville music department announces the presentation Music of the Americas at 8 p.m. Thursday, October 27 in the Frank C. Smith Recital Hall in the Bellamah Music Building on the campus of Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Music to be presented includes works from Canada, Mexico, Venezuela and the United States.  Works include O My Luve's Like a Red Red Rose by Renè Clausen, Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, Shenandoah arranged by Darmon Meader, and Sleep by Eric Whitacre.  Other composers presented include Brian Tate, Bruce Sled, Rosephanye Powell, and Juan Matias de Rivera.
