Texas A&M University-Kingsville is proud to announce One-Man Star Wars written and performed by Charles Ross as part of the 2013 Presidential Performing and Visual Arts Series. The performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6 in Jones Auditorium located at the corner of Santa Gertrudis and Armstrong in Kingsville. Admission is free and open to the public.

As writer and performer of One-Man Star Wars, Ross has toured the globe for the last 12 years, delighting audiences with his unique and frenetic solo show. He proudly refers to himself as a “professional geek”.

After thousands of performances, in hundreds of cities, across four continents: from off-Broadway, New York City to the Sydney Opera House, or the West End of London to the sands of Dubai, One-Man Star Wars has taken on a life of its own. The show is licensed by George Lucas and Saul Zaentz and carries the official banner of Star Wars.

The Presidential Performing and Visual Arts Series is a year-long program of art, music and theatre performances that bring culture and variety to Kingsville for faculty, staff, students and community audiences. The series strives to provide a new element of learning outside the classroom for students as they are entertained and educated through diverse mediums.
