The music department at Texas A&M University-Kingsville will share the sounds of the season with the South Texas community during the program’s traditional Holiday Concert 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Thursday, November 29 in Jones Auditorium.
Admission is free, though audience members are asked to bring one unwrapped toy to donate to the local Toys for Tots effort.
Approximately 150 students representing four different musical ensembles will perform during the concert. These ensembles include Concert Choir, Jazz Band I, Mariachi Javelina and the Wind Symphony. The concert will include an audience sing-along at the end of the program.
Musical selections will include some traditional holiday music, as well as new and clever arrangements of seasonal favorites. Musical selections will include:

- The Holly and the Ivy
- It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
- Shepherds’ Chorus
- I’ll Be Home for Christmas
- Jingle Bells
- Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!
- Go Tell It on the Mountain
- Sleigh Ride
- Coventry Carol
- We Wish You A Merry Christmas
