Graduate Degree in Computer Science
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science invites you to explore the program leading to M.S. degree in computer science (CS) program at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
The objective of the graduate computer science program at A&M-Kingsville is to produce graduates with broad and up-to-date knowledge, skills and judgment, prepared for professional careers in industry and/or further studies that emphasize advanced design, development and research methods.
The student must file a signal initial degree plan with the College of Graduate Studies, through the graduate coordinator/advisor, by the time the student completes 12 semester hours of graduate course work. A final degree plan is not filed until all conditions have been removed. Forwarding the signed degree plan to the graduate dean denotes (1) the completion of requirements outlined on the Student’s Acceptance notice and (2) the student’s acceptance into degree status. A copy of the final degree plan with any revisions must also be forwarded to the graduate dean at the time of candidacy.
