My mission as a Career
Counselor/Job Developer is to aid students in understanding, evaluating,
and incorporating individual values, skills, and interests into viable
career objectives. I believe that career planning is a developmental
process that must be fostered during a student's years at the
university. My mission includes assisting students in obtaining
meaningful employment by helping them develop skills and knowledge to
manage their careers and to conduct successful job searches. Our Career
Services Department promotes a greater awareness of the world of work
and the need to view career development as a lifelong process.
