| Do you need some help finding prospective employers? |

| Finding the right job can be a huge challenge. From the time we graduate from college in our mid-twenties until we retire around age 65, we’ll be working. That is a long time!!!. So job searchers are well-rewarded by putting some extra effort into their job search to find the right position in the right company. A good job search takes time. It requires researching the market to discover what companies are out there, what jobs they have available, and what it would be like to work for that company. It means starting early enough before you graduate so that you don’t spend months and months after graduation with no job (and no way to pay the rent!). And it requires a positive attitude! Not every attempt will end in a job offer; in fact, it may take several tries before you get an offer, and that first one may not be your dream offer. But there is a job out there for you! In fact, there are probably several serious possibilities. In this diversified world, all varieties of skill combinations are required to fill all multitude of jobs out there. Every day before you begin you job search, think to yourself, “I know there are several jobs out there that requires the exact skills I have, and I’m going to find them!” The best advice is to remember that the hiring manager wants to hire you. After all, if he finds the right candidate, he can end his search and go on with other tasks he has waiting. All you have to do is give him enough information to convince him that, yes, you are that person. And you can do that by researching what skills the job requires, and using the interview to discuss those skills. So now that you know your job is out there waiting for you, all you have to figure out is how to find it. Here are some good places to start:
