Message From The Director

Welcome to the Center for Continuing Education at Texas A&M University-Kingsville!

The mission of our Center is to support the efforts of our institution to develop members of the community by offering programs in professional and skill development as well as courses in personal enhancement. Classes are held on or off-campus or they are offered on-line, through interactive video or hybrid formats. Our Center provides Continuing Education Units (C.E.U.’s) to participants of seminars and workshops in education, engineering, business, environment, finance and other topics. “Proactive and Situational Leadership”, “Sustainability in Your Business”, and “Professional and Business Ethics” are some of the new workshops that we offer to businesses and other organizations in the community. We also work closely with the youth and children in the community through our academic and testing preparation programs, tutoring services and our “College for Kids” Program.

We are proud of our staff and instructors for making these diverse and quality programs possible.

The Center for Continuing Education's mission is to support the efforts of the institution by developing members of the community through courses of professional and skill development, as well as providing personal enhancement courses to broaden the individual's social and soft skills. Other responsibilities include the issuing of Continuing Education Units (CEU's) to the business industries along with academic and professional organizations through conferences, seminars and workshops.
