Central Plant Modernization

With all the projected growth on campus—as well as bringing new facilities online—the university recognizes the need to modernize our central plants. University officials submitted a Stimulus project request to modernize and renovate the central plants, boilers, cooling towers and related infrastructure. Plans include utilities controls, motors and pumps to service the entire university campus. The total cost of updating our central plants  to accommodate the campus’ future is approximately $30 million.
