Undergraduate Work:  B.A. in Chemistry, Hastings College, Nebraska, 1964.

Doctoral Work: Ph.D. in Chemistry, University of Kansas, 1968.

    Past Research:  Photoionization Cross Section at 11.6 - 11.8 eV, semi-empirical calculation of molecular polarizabilities and diamagnetic susceptibilities of fluorocarbons, ether, ketones, and aldehydes.

    Best Advice Ever Received: "It's not so  much how much you know, but how hard you are willing to work to learn!"  "The more you know, the less you know!"

    Hobbies:  Racquetball, basketball, hiking, jogging, and snow skiing.

    What Influenced you to study Chemistry: Chemistry instructor at Hastings College and at University of Kansas.  Plus, I found chemistry to be nothing short of fascinating and intriguing.
