Description
Standard State: solid at 298 K
Color: silvery lustrous gray
Reich and Richter discovered Indium. Indium is most frequently associated with zinc minerals and it is form these that most
commercial indium is now obtained. It is probably as abundant as silver.
Indium is very soft, silvery white metal with a brilliant luster, and the metal gives a
high-pitched "cry" when it is bent. Care should be taken handling Indium
until more information is available.
