I joined the Conner Museum as Curator in May of 2014. I am responsible for the care of the collections, the processing of new acquisitions, collections research, as well as the creation of temporary and permanent exhibits.

I was born in Dallas, Texas and have lived all over the state. I graduated from Clear Lake High School in Houston and immediately moved to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University. I graduated with my B.A. in Art History and B.B.A. in General Business in 2010 and completed my Master’s Degree in Museum Science in 2012.  For the past few years I have been working as Special Projects Coordinator at the Texas Maritime Museum in Rockport, TX. I have also worked at the Museum of Texas Tech University in the areas of registration, education, curatorial and exhibits, as well as the National Ranching Heritage Center and the Amarillo Museum of Art.

One of my greatest joys is traveling. I love to experience a new culture and immerse myself in the history of a place. I have traveled to England, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Greece, Italy, Egypt, Morocco, Canada and Mexico. It is my dream to visit six continents. When I am not able to travel, I enjoy reading and sketching.

I am excited to join the team at the Conner Museum and look forward to showing the public the wonderful collections and history found at the Museum.
