Texas A&M University-Kingsville

Horticulture Society

Plant and soil science and agriculture science majors are encouraged to participate in club activities, such as the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Horticulture Society. The purpose of this society is to promote social interaction among the student body of Texas A&M-Kingsville and the surrounding community through horticultural related activities.

Students are engaged in growing plants and crops within four greenhouses, three shade houses and garden plots located on campus. Annual plant sales generate funds for student trips to better educate themselves about their career choice or to just have fun. We welcome anyone who has the desire to “get their hands dirty” and want to see plants flourish! Come enjoy the fun and lasting friendships this club has to offer you.
