The new Robert Justus Kleberg Sr. Bloomberg Classroom was unveiled in the College of Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Funding for the new classroom came in the form of a $75,000 donation by Kleberg Bank.

Shown from left, are Stewart L. Armstrong, chairman of the Kleberg Bank Board of Directors; Dr. Natalya Delcoure, dean of the College of Business Administration; Gabe Guerra, president and chief executive officer of Kleberg Bank; and Brad Womack, Kingsville Market President and Chief Operating Officer for Kleberg Bank.

A classroom on the second floor of the Business Administration Building was converted to accommodate the lab. It opened for student use in spring 2019. The Bloomberg Essentials terminals that are housed in the lab provide users with an introduction to the Bloomberg Professional Service.

The terminals can be used as an educational and research tool in undergraduate classes, community workshops and financial literacy education. The terminal is a 24-hour, global financial services system that provides transparent and reliable financial, economic and government information covering all market sectors. It features company financials, market data spanning more than 20 years, charts, statistics, a communications platform and current news reports.
