South Central Regional All-Session Passes available to the first 100 students courtesy of Dr. Hussey

KINGSVILLE, Texas - The first 100 students from Texas A&M University-Kingsville will have an opportunity to pick up an All-Session pass to the NCAA Division II Softball South Central Regional taking place later this week, courtesy of Texas A&M-Kingsville’s 20th President, Mark Hussey, Ph.D.


The passes are available for pickup at the Athletics Ticket Office at McCulley Hall starting today, Tuesday, May 7. Students will need to present a valid ID issued by Texas A&M-Kingsville in order to pick up the pass.


The Javelina softball team recently won its second Lone Star Conference Championship to close the regular season and earned the right to host the LSC Softball Championship. The Blue and Gold followed up with it’s first-ever tournament championship to earn the automatic bid to the NCAA South Central Regional.


Texas A&M-Kingsville ended up as the top seed in the South Central Region following a 43-8 record on the year and will host the regional tournament later this week starting Thursday, May 9.


The Javelinas will face eighth-seeded Oklahoma Christian at 6 p.m. at Vernie and Blanche Hubert Field to start the double-elimination bracket.
