Dr. Maureen Croft Named Vice President for Enrollment Management

Dr. Maureen Croft has been selected as Vice President for Enrollment Management at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. 

Croft joined the campus February 1, 2018. 

She is coming from the University of Houston, where she had worked since 2006. Croft served in various roles there, including Associate Provost for Strategic Enrollment Planning, Director of Institutional Analysis and Performance Measurement and Senior Statistician. 

While at the University of Houston, Croft led the creation of the first university-wide strategic enrollment plan as well as the first plan specifically geared toward graduate programs. Under her management, the University of Houston met all of its major enrollment goals. Other achievements include the development and implementation of a new scholarship-awarding model, and a high school ranking and recruitment plan. 

She has been an external reviewer for the Review of Higher Education and has served as a Director on the Board of the Lighthouse of Houston for nearly 20 years. She also served on the Thomson Reuters Research Analytics Advisory Board and on the Research Advisory Team for the Rice University School Mathematics Project’s National Science Foundation DR K-12 proposals. 

Croft holds a Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a master’s degree in social work from the University of Houston, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas A&M University.
