Texas A&M University – Kingsville Department Of Mathematics is proud to host the 8th Coastal Bend Mathematics and Statistics Conference.
Coastal Bend Mathematics and Statistics Conference exhibits contributions from both theoretical and applied research in the field of mathematics, statistics, and related areas. This conference provides a leading forum for disseminating the latest research. CBMSC brings together students, teachers, and industry professionals from the Coastal Bend community, South Texas region, Texas, the nation and all over the world. A preliminary survey indicates that well over 100 participants from the Coastal Bend area and beyond are making plans to attend the conference, see attachment. We are grateful for this opportunity for us to advertise our mathematics and statistics programs and showcase our beautiful campus to leaders locally and internationally.
The conference will be held on Saturday April 6th, 2024 at Texas A&M University - Kingsville.
This conference will feature in-person and online presentations from leaders and students in all fields of mathematics and statistics. Regular talks will be 25 minutes long, with additional 5 minutes for Q&A. Student talks will be 15 minutes long, with additional 5 minutes for Q&A. Coffee, Breakfast, and lunch will be provided. In person attendees will enjoy a complimentary breakfast & lunch.
There is no fee to register. Abstracts must be no more than 250 words and submitted on or before March 15, 2024.
