Dr. Matthew Price

Professor of Political Science

When asked where he is from, Matt never knows quite how to answer.  He was born in Tokyo, and raised in Japan and Hong Kong, only moving  to the U.S at 16 to attend college.  He attended the University of Utah, earning his Bachelor’s degree magna cum laude.  He received his Master’s degree at the University of Southern California, and his PhD at Johns Hopkins University.  Whereupon, he immediately came to teach at Tamuk, where he has been ever since.  He has, in fact, lived in Kingsville longer than in any other single location. Matt loves teaching, his areas of specialization being public policy, political theory, and political behavior.  In addition, he enjoys writing when time permits; his books include Justice Between GenerationsThe Wilsonian Persuasion in American Foreign Policy, and Advancement of Liberty.
