Center for Teaching Effectiveness


The Center for Teaching Effectiveness (CTE) periodically offers workshops on issues pertinent to teaching and learning. These workshops are open to all faculty at TAMUK. In past semesters, workshop topics have included Active Learning Strategies; The Flipped Classroom; Accommodating Students with Disabilities in the Classroom; Faculty Write-In; Writing Effective Letters of Recommendation for Your Students; Incorporating Undergraduate Research in Your Classes; and Helping Students Avoid Plagiarism. These workshops are typically led by faculty or staff who have knowledge of and experience in the topic.
