First Generation Students at Texas A&M University-Kingsville

Texas A&M University-Kingsville is dedicated to provide first-generation students with support and resources that will help them successfully acclimate to the campus environment and to graduate in a timely manner.  In summer 2016, GOLDS Javelina Scholarship was established, this scholarship was created in conjunction with the Office of Admissions, University Scholarships, Communication Center and Office of Student Access to address the development of first-generation students throughout their college experience.  For more information on GOLDS Javelina Scholarship click here.
