New Student Orientation

Welcome to the Javelina Nation! Our new student orientation programs are designed for our incoming students who are entering college for the first time (with no college credits or less than 12 transferable college credits before high school graduation) and new undergraduate or transfer students (with 12 or more transferable college credits) so that each of our new Javelinas can have a successful start to the first year at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

Domestic students can attend one of our new student orientation programs for first time in college students or transfer students.  Attending an orientation session is mandatory. International undergraduate students should plan to attend a new student orientation program.

International Student Orientation (ISO) is a program for all incoming international students in F-1 or J-1 student status, including freshman, graduate, professional, transfer, returning students from leave, and exchange students. International Student Orientation is designed to help students learn about and understand important immigration regulations and procedures required of F-1 and J-1 students, confirm the arrival for required government reporting purposes, and to assist new students in adjusting to Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
