Terri Lynn Johnston to reign over university events for next year
Terri Lynn Johnston, a senior civil engineering major from Hondo, was chosen Miss TAMUK for 2010 during the scholarship pageant held Saturday, April 24. Johnston will receive a $2,000 scholarship as winner of the pageant and will be required to represent the university at many events.
Anastasia Offordile, a junior biomedical science major from Houston, was first runner up and received a $1,500 scholarship. She also was named Miss Lantana. The second runner up and recipient of a $1,000 scholarship was Erin Ash, a sophomore architectural engineering major from Shenandoah.
Victoria Martinez, a junior architectural engineering major from Moore, was third runner up and the fourth runner up was Nicole Villarreal, a freshman communications major from Harlingen.
Aidee Avalos, a junior Spanish major from La Ward, was named Miss Congeniality and Bianca C. Serna, a freshman pre-pharmacy major from Corpus Christi, was chosen Miss Photogenic.
